The decision to start over
In 2007, our founder left her family and her country behind and arrived in the United States with fierce determination and a love for hospitality. She made herself a promise: every sacrifice would count.
Working her way up
She started as a cook, then moved to serving — and discovered a gift for making guests feel genuinely welcome. She rose to manager, learning every part of the business from the ground up.
Opening on West Beverley Street
Every lesson went into opening Stella Mia on West Beverley Street — where everything is made fresh to order and the dining room feels as unhurried as it does welcoming.
